I have yet to meet or hear of any negative memories concerning Kwajalein from any one that spent time on the atoll.

Facebook has given many people the opportunity to express their opinions. I have joined a group called Kwaj pictures and have posted several times on that group. My most recent post expressed the idea that everyone I have met or have read their experiences on Kwajalein would be in favor of their return if it were possible. That post has created the largest response of any post I have seen on Facebook. Of over 70 responses only one has been less than enthusiastic about a return.
Sometime in the future, if the United states returns Kwajalein to the Federated states of Micronesia, it will be a favored destination for people who have been there, heard about it, or just want a ideal location to spend a vacation. Because of Kwajalein’s location and importance to the United States for missile testing its return is in doubt. However my wife Janis and I would return if possible and stay for an extended period of time.
